Chilli Garlic Prawn

This spicy chilli prawns is made with Prawns, Tomato Sauce and Soy Sauce. Chilli prawns dry taste amazing with fried rice or noodles.

Cook Time – 20 minutes

Total Time – 45 minutes

Servings –  6 persons

Ingredients

 

  • – 3 tsp Purti Refined Soyabean Oil
  • – 3 tsp Ginger finely chopped
  • – 3 tsp Garlic finely chopped
  • – 6 Dry Red Chillies broken into small pieces
  • – 9 Spring Onion white part
  • – 5 Bell Peppers / Capsicum chopped into small pieces
  • – 3 tsp Soy Sauce
  • – 6 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
  • – 3 tbsp Green Chilli Sauce
  • – 3 tsp Vinegar
  • – Salt to taste
  • – 5 tsp Sugar
  • – 3 tsp Pepper Powder
  • – 6 Spring Onion green part chopped finely
  • – 3 tsp Cornstarch dissolved in 1 tbsp of water
  • – For Marinating Prawns:
  • – 60 medium Prawns
  • – 3 tsp Soy Sauce
  • – Salt to taste
  • – Pepper to taste
  • – 12 tbsp Cornstarch
  • – Water a little if needed
  • – Purti Refined Soyabean Oil for deep frying

Instructions

Take prawns in a bowl and add all the ingredients given for marinating except oil. Mix well. Now heat oil for deep frying in a pan, drop prawns in and fry till golden. Drain it and set aside.

  1. Step 1: Heat 1 tsp of Purti Refined Soyabean oil in a frying pan, add in ginger, garlic and dry red chillies. Saute for a min.
  2. Step 2:  Add in white part of spring onion and saute for a min.
  3. Step 3: Add in capsicum and saute for a min.
  4. Step 4: Now add in soya sauce, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper. Boil it for 1 to 2 mins.
  5. Step 5:  Add in fried prawns and toss well in the sauce.
  6. Step 6: Mix cornflour with some water and mix well.Pour this into the sauce and toss well.
  7. Step 7: Add in green part of spring onion. Toss once. Serve.
