Introduction:
Mushroom Hakka Noodles is a beloved Indo-Chinese dish that perfectly blends the bold flavors of Chinese stir-fry with the Indian love for spices and texture. Loaded with fresh mushrooms, crunchy vegetables, and tossed in soy-based sauces, this noodle dish is a crowd-pleaser at family dinners, parties, and festive occasions. Ingredients:
– 200 g Hakka noodles
– 2 tbsp Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil
– 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
– 1/2 cup carrot, julienned
– 1/2 cup capsicum, thinly sliced
– 1/2 cup cabbage, shredded
– 1 medium onion, sliced
– 2-3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
– 2 green chilies, slit (optional)
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp vinegar
– 1 tsp chili sauce (optional)
– Salt to taste
– Black pepper powder to taste
– Spring onions for garnish
Method – How to Make Mushroom Hakka Noodles:
Step 1: Boil the noodles
Cook noodles as per packet instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with a few drops of Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Heat the oil
In a wok or deep pan, heat Purti Soyalite Refined Soyabean Oil on high flame. Add chopped garlic and green chilies, stir-fry for a few seconds.
Step 3: Stir-fry the vegetables
Add onions, carrots, capsicum, cabbage, and mushrooms. Stir-fry on high flame for 2-3 minutes until slightly cooked yet crunchy.
Step 4: Add sauces and seasoning
Mix in soy sauce, vinegar, and chili sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.
Step 5: Toss in the noodles
Add the boiled noodles to the wok. Toss everything together quickly on high flame so that the noodles absorb the sauces and remain non-sticky.
Step 6: Garnish and serve
Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
