  • – 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

  • – 100 gm coriander leaves
  • – 1/2 cup Purti vegetable oil
  • – 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • – 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • – 2 pinches chaat masala

How To Prepare Broccoli Tikki

Step 1

To prepare this delicious snack recipe, boil potato in a pan. Once boiled, peel and keep it aside to let it cool at room temperature. Peel the onion and green chillies and finely chop them in separate bowls.

Step 2

Next, put a saucepan on medium flame and add water in it along with salt. Let water boil in it and meanwhile, cut broccoli florets in a large bowl. Wash, clean and strain them. Now, transfer these broccoli florets in the boiling water and keep them there for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame after this and then drain the extra water. Pat them dry and shred them in a food processor.

Step 3

Now, take a large bowl and mash the boiled potato in it. Add the shredded broccoli in it along with all the remaining ingredients except oil, and mix well. Once done, divide this broccoli mixture in equal parts and form in the shape of tikki.

Step 4

Now, put a pan over medium flame and add a little purti vegetable oil on it. You can even use a kitchen brush, if you want a healthy tikki. Put 2-3 tikkis on it and shallow fry them until golden brown in colour. Turn upside down to cook from the other side. The tikkis will be ready in 5-7 minutes.

Step 5
Once the tikkis are ready, transfer them to a plate and enjoy with your favourite chutney. You can even make a delicious appetizer with it by using cheese dip with it.
