Ingredients:

For Chicken Preparation:

  • – 1 kg Boneless Chicken
  • – 1 Egg
  • – 3 tbsp Corn flour
  • – 1 tsp Salt
  • – 1 tsp White Pepper Powder
  • – 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • – 2 tbsp Purti Sunlife Refined Sunflower Oil
  • – Purti Sunlife Refined Sunflower Oil (for frying), as required

 

For Manchurian:

  • – 1/4 cup Green Onion (white part)
  • – 1 cup Red Capsicum (cubed)
  • – 1 cup Green Capsicum (cubed)
  • – 1 cup Onion (cubed)
  • – 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • – 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • – 1/2 tsp White Pepper Powder
  • – Green Onion (green part), for garnish

 

Instructions:

 

Marinate the Chicken:

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine boneless chicken pieces, egg, corn flour, salt, white pepper powder, vinegar, and Purti Sunlife Refined Sunflower Oil.
  • 2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to coat the chicken evenly.
  • 3. Allow the chicken to marinate for 15-20 minutes.

 

Fry the Chicken:

  • 1. In a deep pot or frying pan, heat Purti Sunlife Refined Sunflower Oil over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the marinated chicken pieces.
  • 3. Fry the chicken until it reaches about 80% doneness, then remove it from the oil and set aside.

 

Prepare the Manchurian:

  • 1. In a wok or large skillet, heat a tablespoon of Purti Sunlife Refined Sunflower Oil.
  • 2. Add minced garlic and red chilies to the hot oil and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  • 3. Add the white part of the green onion, red capsicum, green capsicum, and onion cubes to the wok.
  • 4. Stir-fry the vegetables for 1-2 minutes until they begin to soften.

 

Combine Chicken and Sauce:

  • 1. Add the partially fried chicken pieces to the wok with the vegetables.
  • 2. Pour in the ketchup and soy sauce.
  • 3. Sprinkle white pepper powder over the mixture.
  • 4. Stir everything together until the chicken and vegetables are evenly coated with the sauce.

 

Garnish and Serve:

  • 1. Garnish the Dry Chicken Manchurian with chopped green onions (green part).
  • 2. Serve hot as a delicious appetizer or main course with steamed rice or noodles.
