Ingredients for Boiling:

  • – 2 cups corn kernels
  • – Salt to taste

 

Ingredients For Coating:

  • – ½ cup plain flour
  • – ½ cup corn flour
  • – 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • – 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • – Salt to taste

 

For The Sauce:

  • – 2 teaspoons Purti Refined Sunflower Oil
  • – 1 teaspoon finely chopped green chilies
  • – 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
  • – 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
  • – 1 teaspoon finely chopped celery
  • – ½ cup chopped onion
  • – ½ cup chopped green pepper
  • – 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • – 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • – 2 teaspoons Schezwan sauce
  • – 2 teaspoons red chili sauce
  • – 1 teaspoon salt
  • – 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • – 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • – 2 tablespoons spring onions

 

Other Ingredients:

Purti Refined Sunflower Oil for deep frying

 

Directions:

  1. 1. Begin by boiling 2 cups of corn kernels in salted water for 3-4 minutes until they are tender. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix plain flour, corn flour, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt for coating the corn kernels.
  3. 3. Lightly coat the boiled corn kernels with the flour mixture by adding it in batches and gently mixing until evenly coated.
  4. 4. Heat Purti Refined Sunflower Oil in a pan for deep frying. Once hot, fry the coated corn kernels until golden brown and crispy. Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  5. 5. In another pan, heat 2 teaspoons of Purti Refined Sunflower Oil and sauté green chilies, garlic, ginger, and celery for a minute.
