Mix vegetable pakoda recipe with purti kachi ghani mustard oil

Ingredients of Mix Vegetable Pakoda

For The Main Dish
3 cup gram flour (besan)
Ingredients of Mix Vegetable Pakoda
1) 2 potato
2) 2 onion
3) 3 teaspoon red chilli powder
4) water as required
5) 1 1/2 handful coriander leaves
6) 2 capsicum (green pepper)
7) 2 teaspoon dry mango powder
8)salt as required
9) Purti Kachi Ghani oil as required

How to make Mix Vegetable Pakoda
Step 1: Wash and chop the veggies, To begin with, this recipe, wash the veggies and peel the potatoes and onion. Now take a chopping board and chop all the vegetables in desired shapes and sizes, keep them in a large bowl. In the meantime, take a vessel and boil the potatoes with a dash of salt. Once done, drain out the water and chop the potatoes into small cubes.
Step 2: Make the pakoda batter Take another bowl and add besan along with some water. Makes sure you do not add too much water as we need a slightly thick batter. Mix both the ingredients thoroughly to make a thick batter. Next, add red chilli powder, dry mango powder and salt to this batter. Add all the ingredients and veggies, stir to mix all the ingredients completely.
Step 3: Deep fry and relish! Put a kadhai on medium flame and heat Purti oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add small portions of this mixture in the hot oil, fry the pakoda until it turns golden brown in colour. Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup.

TIPS: Make sure that the batter is not too runny or too thick, else it will ruin the taste of pakodas. You can always add some sooji to give your pakodas a crunchy texture and also to balance the texture of the batter. Add some roasted cumin powder or seeds to the batter to accentuate the taste.
